The 3000 Series is a range of logging sensors for environmental
monitoring applications. An extension of the PS2100 sensor, the
3000 series has the ability to measure and log channels from a variety
of sensor combinations, including Pressure, Temperature, DO, EC, ORP, pH
and turbidity. The 3000 has more advanced communications
capabilities including an interface to the Sensor Gateway which extends
the 3000 capabilities by adding SMS communications, rain and flow
channels and sampler system control.

The PS2100 is a submersible logging
sensor with on-board logging capability. It measures Pressure
(water level), Temperature and Battery voltage.
The electronics includes a high resolution ADC that
can measure and log channels at up to 5 Hertz. Designed for low
power operation the PS2100 can run unsupervised for a year from the two
internal 1/2 AA Batteries.
The data logging scheduler was designed for a high
degree of flexibility and allows triggerable burst logging, flexible
averaging scenarios, data variation logging and multiple logging
schedules. A non-linear logging period mode
allows data to be logged at increasing periods (so-called 'logarithmic
intervals') for applications such as bore hole draw down logging. This
is where the rate of change of pressure is rapid at the start and then
falls off at a logarithmic rate. |
